Work experience

Before joining GWIP, Mr. Wang had been working at the Hubei Center of Patent Examination and Collaboration of the National Intellectual Property Administration for a long time, accumulating extensive experience in patent examination.
During his tenure at GWIP, Mr. Wang has shown outstanding performance, especially in handling complex intellectual property cases, demonstrating exceptional professional capability: within just two years, successfully obtaining approval for several difficult domestic and international patent applications; effectively preventing competitors from obtaining patent authorization by submitting public opinions; providing IP training, patent analysis, patent navigation, and early warning services to numerous well-known enterprises; assisting domestic and international companies in completing FTO (Freedom to Operate) reports and legal opinions; and achieving repeated successes in the fields of patent invalidation and litigation, effectively safeguarding client interests.

Personal Achievements

Possesses professional qualifications as a lawyer, intermediate economist, and patent agent, and has been selected into the Zhejiang Provincial Patent Navigation Expert Database.

Representative Cases

In 2024, represented a semiconductor company in Jiangsu to fully invalidate a core patents of a competitor, forcing the opponent to withdraw an infringement lawsuit claiming millions in damages.
In 2024, coordinated a Chinese company’s defence against a patent-related customs seizure in Poland, in collaboration with Polish counsel, securing full release of the goods.
In 2023, represented an enterprise in Zhejiang in an administrative litigation case concerning the invalidation of a core patent related to fourth-generation refrigerants against a multinational company, successfully maintaining the invalidation decision.
In 2022, achieved complete invalidation of a core patent held by a Fortune 500 tobacco multinational on behalf of a leading Chinese tobacco company, with the ruling upheld by the Supreme People's Court through appellate proceedings.
In 2022, represented a new energy company in Jiangxi in winning an invention patent infringement dispute, clearing patent obstacles for the client's RMB 1.1 billion mica lithium extraction project.
