Representative Cases

In 2024, represented a Chinese company in a declaratory action of non-infringement against a US Fortune 500 company; the Supreme People's Court overturned the Shenyang Intermediate Court's dismissal and remanded the case for further proceedings.
In 2024, coordinated a Chinese company’s defence against a patent-related customs seizure in Poland, in collaboration with Polish counsel, securing full release of the goods.
In 2022, achieved complete invalidation of a core patent held by a Fortune 500 tobacco multinational on behalf of a leading Chinese tobacco company, with the ruling upheld by the Supreme People's Court through appellate proceedings.
In 2022, represented a Swedish company in a patent infringement suit against a Chinese company in Ningbo; the Supreme People's Court increased the compensation, securing a CNY 5.3 million favorable judgment.
In 2021, represented a Chinese company in invalidating a core patent on fourth-generation refrigerants owned by a Fortune 500 company — based on lack of support in the specification — marking the first successful invalidation of such a patent in China.
In 2019, coordinated a Chinese company’s opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office, in collaboration with European counsel, resulting in the revocation in its entirety of a core European patent held by a Fortune 500 company.
In 2018, represented a Chinese company in a patent infringement suit against a Hangzhou company, securing nearly CNY 4 million in damages.
